Edesa's Project consists of three historically-active mines plus some surface rights where a mill was active in the past.
The mining claims cover an area of over 320 hectares. Besides the claims, Edesa also has some surface rights.
Extensive metallurgical and geological analysis has been completed on each mine. As recently as 1983, an independent Canadian company, Asamera Minerals Inc from Calgary, completed a reserve study that reported a total of proven, probable, possible and inferred ore of 1.15 million tons.
In 1983, the analysis was reviewed by Ralf M. Kleine, a Canadian mining engineer; who recently retired from Starcore.
Previous geological and metallurgical analysis show that the mines contain high grade silver with an estimate of 300 to 800 grams of silver per ton as well as some gold , copper, lead and zinc. Veins in Edesa’s mines range from 1.00 to 3.65 meters wide.
